I’m not sure what route to go for getting my backyard landscape removal done. Should I do it myself or hire a Bobcat service hourly? If so does anyone know any company that can do dirt excavating in San Diego? If So please let me know! Thanks Jane Mira Mesa

Everyone who lives in San Diego knows the dirt varies from Carlsbad dirt to Rancho Santa Fe dirt. There’s clay dirt and red dirt and just plain old dirty dirt. If your dirt in the backyard is in a hillside and needs to be removed you may need a powerful BOBCAT to break up the dirt before removing it. Make sure you are using a heavy duty dump truck as well. You DO NOT want to use your old F150, it just won’t cut it! No need to break your truck. Check around there is a company Ace Hauling that will charge hourly for BOBCAT work and trucking your dirt away. Leave it to the experts when dealing with a high volume amount of dirt.
If you have a pile of dirt on your side yard that has been there for decades and is now growing weeds, again if it’s more than a ton call the experts and save your back and truck! The experts would use a tool to separate any greenery and chip away at the dirt to loosen the pile then load it with a wheelbarrow given the access and clearance of about 3.5 ft. The more dirt you have the lower the price is to haul out per load. So get the whole amount of dirt removed all at once. You will end up saving at the end! Good luck!

What to do with so much dirt? The world is full of dirt, and some people want to get rid of it, others need it. I don’t want it yet I don’t have a truck. I need it yet I don’t have a truck.

San Diego can be the most wonderful place to live, but it can also be the hardest place. Anyone that has had to contend with the Santa Ana’s and the fires knows that. Cleaning up after such disaster can be extremely difficult and alot of times you don’t even know where to start. There is so much to do, so much emotion and so much loss. The fires in2007 affected alot of homes all over San Diego. Many people were left without homes and wondering how to start over. One such family’s, living in Rancho Bernardo, home had burned to the ground. There was rubbish and burnt debris all over the yard. As they started picking through what little they had left, they realized that this was going to be a much bigger job than they first anticipated. Not only were they going to have to clear out everything, but they were going to have to bring in new dirt and replace all that they had lost. They were going to have to rebuild. This is a huge undertaking; and without the right help can be an absolute dreadful one at that. Fortunately, they knew where to turn. A company called ACE Demolition and Hauling. ACE Demolition and Hauling played a huge part in helping families get their lives back together. Their distitinctive purple trucks let people know that help was on the way. They removed all the smoke infused debris, burnt concrete, and rubble where a house once stood. Then, they hauled off all of it, truck after truck. They removed all the dirt that was filled with ash and all the broken up concrete from the house’s burnt slab. Then, when everything was finally cleared out and leveled ACE Demolition and Hauling brought in all new recycled dirt. It was quite a site! To think that once there was a home there, filled with love and memories and now there was just an empty plot of land. They all looked at it in awe, feeling a little bit sad, and a little bit happy that at least it was all cleaned up. ACE was great help and the family was thankful that they didn’t have to clean it up all by themselves. They have since started rebuilding a new home, where the old one stood. They are not sad anymore because they know that there are people like ACE Demolition and Hauling out there to help them out. They still use them to this day, but this time it’s to take out dirt to put in what the old house never had… a pool. Now, they have started making new memories and this time their new home will have all the things the old one didn’t.

After searching and searching for the perfect home in North County, we finally found it! A beautiful 2 story home with a great view. The only down fall was that the yard needed lots of work and we wanted to install a pool in the backyard. So, after moving in we began the long process of clearing away lots of brush and digging out the hole that would become our new pool. 2 days into this process we began to relize that we had no where to put all this dirt and debris that we had dug up and cleared out. Our neighbors were begining to notice out giant mess, and one day the older couple who lived next to us finally came over to talk to us about it. They asked us how we were planning to get rid of all the dirt and rubbish that was now all over our yard. We told them that we were not sure what to do with it as this was our first house and how we had called a few places around town but none seemed very helpful. They suggested that we try a company called ACE Hauling and Demolition. They said that they remove dirt, and brush and would haul it away for us. They even told us that they would recycle the dirt for others to use as fill dirt! So we would be giving back to the environment rather than just taking it all to the dump our selves. We called ACE Hauling and they were great. They were so helpful and their prices were more than reasonable. They showed up that same day in these huge purple trucks, and gathered up all the brush, and dirt that we had all over the yard. They hauled it all away for us and even told us that if we had any thing else we needed hauled away that they would be more than happy to come back and get that too. We were so pleased with their dirt removal and hauling process that we told our best friends about them. So if you are in the need for dirt or brush removal and hauling, these are deffinetly the people to call. They service all over San Diego, from Oceanside even all the way into Temecula! On top of that they are credable and are members of BBB. We will definetly be using their services in the future!

I heard that there is a company in San Diego that has a free dirt fill program! Basically, the way that it works is that you go on their web site and you can contact them about recieving free fill dirt. This is great you if are in need of some quality soil! They are a reputable company and will haul the dirt to you for free! That means you dont have to have your own truck to haul it to your property. They will also remove dirt from your property as well. I think they are called Ace Hauling.
